When typing the word Gigolo on the internet, you will see Renés website among the companies that have quite a few gigolos in their files. René is an independently working gigolo who can be booked via mobile number or email. We at Oer Digital Women’s Magazine called René, and had the following conversation with him.
Can you tell us about yourself?
I am a 38 year old white male with a college degree.
Do your friends and family know you’re a gigolo?
No, this work is taboo. We live in a modern country, but this is still not possible.
Do you have a partner?
No. I think a partner would struggle with this too. If I were to start a new relationship, I would tell her that I do this job, and if she wanted me to stop, then so would I.
What kind of women book you?
A cross-section of Dutch society, highly and low-educated. I think the number of bachelors among highly educated women is higher, but I don’t get more calls or e-mails from this group. The women who hire me are sometimes divorced, sometimes single, but they are also women with a partner. Occasionally I get calls from couples.
What is the ethnic background of the women?
Ninety-five percent is of so-called indigenous origin. The other five percent are of South American, Antillean, Surinamese Creole and Surinamese Hindustani descent.
And the couples?
They are also mainly of indigenous origin.
What is the age of the women you visit?
That varies from early twenties to over fifty. The average age is about thirty-five years old.
Can’t these young women easily just get a one-night stand?
That’s not the problem, but they don’t want a guy from the pub. They don’t feel comfortable with that. They fear the possible aftermath of such a contact and they feel that they are better off with me.
How old are the couples who contact you?
They are between 35 and 55 years old.
What are the costs of your visit?
I always ask for 300 euros. This amount includes travel expenses and applies to both an individual and a couple.
Who can afford this sum?
Women with a lower level of education cannot afford this monthly, but they hire me too. Most couples do have higher incomes.
Do you have a regular group of women you visit?
A small number of women I visit once every four to six weeks. Most women I visit two or three times a year.
What about couples?
There is a small group I visit an average of three times a year.
How long is a visit?
About four hours. We usually start with coffee. Then I give a massage to take away the tension, followed by an erotic massage. Then there is sexual contact. After this we have a break after which we have seks again. Sometimes the latter even happens a third time. With couples, I’m usually intimate with the woman first while the man watches, and later there’s a threesome.
How do you come to an appointment with a customer?
I don’t often get calls. Usually there is a few email contacts about the wishes, price and date. Thirty percent of the women and couples send a photo beforehand.
Has it ever happened that a customer physically repelled you?
I’ve never experienced that. I see beauty in every woman. Fat or skinny, it doesn’t matter to me. In general, the women who make contact are people who, like me, value hygiene and civility. I do receive vulgar e-mails from time to time, but I don’t respond to them.
What I once experienced with a couple was that the man displayed derogatory behavior towards his partner. I can’t handle that very well and a second appointment was therefore not an option for me.
Do you kiss your clients?
I leave that up to them, but I don’t mind.
Do you pay attention to safe sex?
Yes, I always use a condom, but not a dental dam.
By the way, I get tested for STDs every year.
Have you ever experienced strange sexual desires from women or couples?
No, but I also indicate in advance that I am not in for that.
Why do you do this work?
A lot of women experience little or no pleasure in sex. I wish them that pleasure and I want to contribute to that. Many women who call me have problems with intimacy, often because of their experiences in life, sometimes because of a relationship. This has created blockages and they hope that they will be lifted through me.
How frequently do you do this work?
Twice a week. I do this alongside a regular job.
Why are you self-employed?
I do it for fun, so I don’t want to be tied to an agency.
Are you in contact with other gigolos?
No, I don’t know anyone who also does this job.
